Michelle Moore RN, MSN, WCC, CWCMS, is the new Vice President of Clinical Affairs for McCord Research. Moore holds a Masters in Nursing from The University of Missouri and is certified in wound care. She has been a visionary in the nursing industry for 23 years, both as a clinician and an educator. Her background includes holding the position of Chief Clinical Officer with Links Medical Products, Director of Clinical of Gulf South Medical Supply, and Director of Clinical and Vendor Relations for Wound Care Education Institute. Her skills have aided in the design and development of several advanced wound care products that are currently in the field today. “My skills will assist in bringing training and education to the clinical personnel that will utilize our products as well as the patients who will benefit from the superior line,” said Moore. She will be working exclusively on a new, innovative wound care brand being launched later this year by McCord Research. Moore added, “My goals are to empower the industry and get the field staff excited about how they can prevent wounds from occurring.”

Nancy B. Ray, Ph.D., will hold the position of Director of Quality and Scientific Affairs for McCord Research. Ray received her bachelor’s of science education in Chemistry and Microbiology, as an Honor’s Program Scholar from the University of Montana in Missoula, MT. She then received her Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Biophysics from Oregon State University in Corvallis, OR. Ray has work experience from some of the most prestigious institutes in the country including Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School, The University of Iowa, and National Institutes of Health (NIH) Rocky Mountain Laboratories. “This is a wonderful opportunity for me to learn more about the science behind skin therapy, wound healing, and nutrition,” said Ray. “I am very happy to have the opportunity to contribute to the improvement of human health by promoting quality research, health products, and education.”
