Hot Creamy Mocha

hot-crmy-mchaThe cold weather is back in Iowa so why not enjoy a nice hot treat to keep you warm! Try this Hy-Vee recipe “Hot Creamy Mocha” for the perfect Friday afternoon Pick Me Up!


  • 1/4 c. hot water
  • 1 (1 oz) envelope Swiss Miss® Milk Chocolate Hot Cocoa Mix
  • 1 tbsp instant coffee granules
  • 1/2 c. half-and-half (1/2 cup = 4 oz)
  • Reddi-wip® Whipped Light Cream
  • Ground cinnamon and cinnamon stick, optional
  • Pinnaclife Prebiotic Fiber, optional for added nutritional benefit!


  1. Mix hot water with cocoa mix and coffee granules. {Add Pinnaclife Prebiotic Fiber if desired} Add half-and-half; stir.
  2. Microwave on HIGH 1 minute; stir.
  3. Garnish with whipped cream. Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve with a cinnamon stick for stirring, if desired.
