- 1 pound coarse ground beef, cooked and drained
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and diced
- 1 (14.5 oz) can Hy-Vee diced tomatoes chili ready
- 1 (15 oz) can Hy-Vee chili beans
- 1 (48 oz) can Hy-Vee tomato juice
- 1/2 c. Hy-Vee chili powder
- 1 1/2 tsp Hy-Vee garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Hy-Vee black pepper

- Stir all ingredients together in a large stock pot.
- Bring to a boil over high heat; reduce heat to low and simmer 1 hour.
