We are going to begin focusing on the Pinnaclife products and how they work specifically for cardiovascular disease. We are going to begin tonight talking about the Pinnaclife – Full Spectrum Multi-Vitamin supplement.
Vitamin B and cardiovascular disease was reported on in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA). This is an organization that has never been kind to the notion that healthy lifestyles that include supplements had medical relevance. They couldn’t ignore the importance of folate and vitamin B6. Not only did they find in their 1998 article that these were important vitamins to reduce to the risk of cardiovascular disease, they also recommend supplementation with an intake of folate and vitamin B6 above the current recommended dietary allowances as a primary preventer of coronary disease.
Vitamin C has been followed for years and has been reported on numerous journals. It has been concluded that a higher intake of vitamin C has been associated with a decrease risk in non fatal heart disease. Even marginally low intakes of vitamin C (ascorbic acids) were associated with a higher prevalence of coronary disease. The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition reported in 1999, that Vitamin C is an essential micro nutrient that is required for normal metabolic function of the body and provided protection against atherosclerosis.
Vitamin D was reported to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease in the American Heart Association’s journal, Circulation, in 2007. The study followed 1739 patients and involved researches from Harvard, Boston Mass, Boston University, and USDA. They found that vitamin D deficiency is highly prevalent in the United States and worldwide. They found that low levels of vitamin D adversely affected the cardiovascular system.
