Olivamine & Macular Degeneration

Just in cased you missed Pinnaclife’s Weekly News Edition. Here is a short piece out of it discussing the relation between Olivamine with Hydroxytyrosol and Macular Degeneration.

Olivamine10 is a hydroxytyrosol- based product supported by strong scientic and clinical evidence. Hydroxytyrosol is a potent mitochondria-targeting antioxidant nutrient. Research results suggest that dietary administration of hydroxytyrosol may be an effective measure in reducing and or preventing cigarette smoke-induced or age-related retinal pigment epithelial degeneration, such as age-associated macular degeneration.

In research published in the American Medical
Associations journal JAMA, it was reported that elevated C-reactive protein is an independent risk factor for macular degeneration. This eye disease is the leading cause of blindness and is characterized as the loss of central vision that eventually takes all vision away.

In a clinical trial Olivamine10 reduced C-reactive protein, the marker for inammation, by nearly 70%. This reduction in inammation may reduce the risk long-term inammation associated with reduced immune function.”
