September is Fruits & Veggies–More Matters Month and the perfect time to pledge to do something.

More than 90 percent of both adults and children do not eat the amount of fruits and vegetables recommended by the latest Dietary Guidelines for Americans and the MyPlate nutrition guide.

But just remember two (2) things … fill half your plate with fruits & veggies at every eating occasion (including snacks) AND all forms …fresh, frozen, canned, dried, and 100% juice,  count toward your daily intake!

America’s More Matters Pledge to Fight Obesity
The obesity rate in American children has tripled over the past 30 years, and their expected lifespan is now less than their parents! There are things you can do at home … and at school … to help change this! Take the PLEDGE – Let Us Help You Stop this Trend!

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Health and Human Services’ Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 2010 recommends that Americans make half their plate fruits and vegetables for meals and snacks, as demonstrated by the MyPlate nutrition guide. Given the increase of chronic diseases among all age groups, eating a diet rich in a variety of colorful fruits and vegetables is more important than ever. Fruits & Veggies—More Matters is here to make the healthy choice also an easy choice.

We know that it is not always realistic to get your daily dose of fruits and veggies everyday. So consider nutritional supplementation, to make sure your body is receiving the nutrients it needs to survive! Pinnaclife can help!
